Nitya Seva ("the App") is a free devotional music app developed by Sahil Kumar. This page explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

The App does not require account creation and does not ask for your name, email, or any personally identifiable information directly.

The App uses the following third-party SDKs that may collect data automatically:

Firebase Analytics (Google)

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the App (e.g., which screens are visited, which tracks are played). Firebase may collect:

• Pseudonymous device identifiers
• App usage events (screen views, button taps)
• General device information (OS version, device model, country/region)

Google AdMob

The App displays banner and/or interstitial ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:

• Advertising ID (resettable in Android Settings → Privacy)
• IP address and general location (country/city level)
• Device and app information used for ad targeting and fraud prevention

2. Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or payment information.
• We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or file storage.
• We do not collect health, fitness, or biometric data of any kind.
• We do not sell any data to third parties.

3. Local Storage

The App stores the following data locally on your device using Android's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

• Language preference – your selected display language (English or Hindi).
• Notification settings – whether reminders are enabled and their scheduled times.
• Daily listening streak – a count of consecutive days you have opened and listened to the App, used solely to show you a motivational streak badge within the App. This is not health or fitness data; it is a simple local counter.
• Cached audio files – downloaded tracks stored temporarily for offline playback.

No health, fitness, or biometric data is collected or processed by this App.

4. Permissions

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS – to send daily prayer reminders (only if you enable them).
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM – to deliver reminders at the exact time you set.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED – to restore scheduled reminders after a device restart.
• INTERNET – to stream audio tracks and serve ads.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
